| WOVEN PATCHES, Composition 209 |
| Woven Patches, as the title indicates, was a transition period in the evolution of the painter's style and technique. It was also an effort to render what he saw of the natural world in a method that removed itself entirely from any superfluous attempt to reproduce what many consider to be the reality of the Earth's ineffable and incomparable glory. The painter believes that nature, in all its forms, has done an excellent job of that already. For stimulation we must glance at the world but for truth we must look inward, always inward. If you have questions, want to purchase a painting or commission a new one please contact the painter. |
